Available Seats under Telangana Competent Authority Quota: 50% of Telangana Govt Institute seats and 50% of Telangana Private institute seats (under State University)

Available seats are split into 85% local (either AU local or SVU local) and 15% UNR (Unreserved)
*UNR – Unreserved seats for which all locals (AU, SVU, or OU) and all non-locals are eligible.
NON-LOCAL eligibility CRITERIA for candidates who completed MBBS from any state other than AP/TEL (includes FMGs) – Anyone of the below
- Candidates who have resided in Telangana/Andhra Pradesh for 10 years excluding MBBS
- Candidates whose parents have resided in Telangana/Andhra Pradesh for 10 years excluding period of employment outside state
- Employees of the State Govt, Central Govt, PSUs, Local Bodies, Universities, and other similar Quasi-public institutions in Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
- If the candidate is the child or spouse of those who are employed in these entities – then the candidate is eligible
- Candidates who are spouses of local candidates as mentioned in the table
