The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the NEET PG 2024 exam date. As per the latest notification, NEET 2024 is going to be held on July 7. The cut-off date for eligibility to appear in the NEET-PG 2024 shall be August 15, 2024.
Further cut off date for the eligibility to appear in the NEET PG Exam Date 2024 shall be 15th August 2024. There were reports of the NEET PG 2024 Exam Date getting postponed after the NEET PG Registration 2024 was delayed. Now authorities have confirmed that NEET PG 2024 Exam Date Postponed.
The new changes will have an effect on the NEET PG Counselling process and NEET PG Admission process.

The NEET PG 2024 exam date was published way back in November 2023 when the exam conducting authority, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences published its official 2024 exam calendar. In this calendar, the NEET PG 2024 exam date was confirmed for 3rd March 2024.

The official notice reads, ''In supersession of NBEMS notice dated 09.11.2023 and pursuant to the receipt of NMC letter No. N-P018(20)/7/2023-PGMEB-NMC/000587 dated 03.01.2024, the conduct of NEET-PG 2024 examination which was earlier notified to be tentatively held on 3rd March 2024 stands rescheduled.The NEET-PG 2024 shall now be conducted on 7th July 2024.''

NEET PG 2024 Postponed To July
The official notice of NBE has confirmed that the NEET PG 2024 Exam Date Postponed to 7 July 2024 instead of March 3rd. NEET PG 2023 registration started on January 7 for the exam date of March 5th, 2023 and the NEET PG 2024 exam was running behind schedule leading to Career Media’s experts speculating that the exam might be postponed to July in the previous post.

NEET PG 2024 Postponed Can Delay Counselling
Since the NEET PG 2024 is postponed, it will by default delay the NEET PG counselling process. This has further concerned medical graduates going to appear for this PG medical exam. This is because NEET PG Counselling is a time-consuming process given multiple rounds and reservations.
According to reports as NEET PG 2024 is shifted to July, fresh NEET PG counselling dates will released soon that were scheduled for August further delaying the 2024-25 academic session. Clarification on new NEET PG Counselling dates will released soon by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
